There’s so many essay writing services out there, and there are more popping up all the time. What you need as a student is a writing service with experience. British Essay Writer has been going since 2004, so they must be one of the better services, right? This review aims to find out.
Writers
The writers are the backbone of any writing service. At British Essay Writer, there are currently just under 50 writers on staff. Of that number, 11 are from the UK, 13 have Masters Degrees, and 2 have PhDs. For a site that prides itself on being British, it’s somewhat surprising that there are only 11 UK writers. It’s not good when you need a native writer for your essay.

There’s plenty of ways to contact the service, but you’ll notice that there’s no physical address listed. Why is this a problem? Well, most legit businesses will happily list theirs, as it shows they’re an officially listed business. If they don’t, it could be a red flag that something is amiss. Not having the address means it’s difficult to trust them with your money.

Quality
The quality of the service is what’s most important. We ordered several test essays in order to see what their writing is like at British Essay Writer. When we got our essays, we were saddened to see that the quality of the writing is exceedingly low. What was worse, we ran all pieces through a plagiarism detector, and found that several had plagiarised at least part of the essay from elsewhere. When you’re relying on these essays for your good grades, that’s the last thing you want to see.

The average essay we ordered was a 2 page essay written at undergraduate level, written within 10 days. We paid £31.64 GBP. You can get a discount of 15% off as a new customer. You can also buy additional services, such as a top writer for £9.50, a plagiarism report for £14.99, and updates via SMS for £3.99. This price on the upper levels of what most services charge, but with the quality you’re getting, you’re being overcharged.

There’s plenty of way to get in touch with British Essay Writer, as mentioned above. You can call them, use their live chat function, or send them a message through the website. This can be used if you’re a current customer or thinking about ordering with them. We found though that the customer service left something to be desired. We tried to get a refund on our essays as they were plagiarised, but it was made much harder than we had been lead to believe. We did manage it in the end, but the policy is a lot stricter than advertised.
